Energi Mega Persada (“EMP” or “the Company”) unveiled a series of transformative initiatives during its recent mini town hall meeting, signaling a profound commitment to transparency, diversity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. These pioneering measures underscore The Company’s dedication to fostering a culture of accountability and responsibility within the industry.

A key announcement at the town hall was the introduction of a comprehensive whistleblowing system aimed at promoting integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization. EMP proudly revealed the appointment of Deloitte as an independent whistleblowing consultant, ensuring impartiality and confidentiality for employees who raise concerns.

Furthermore, The Company declared an ambitious goal of achieving 30% female representation within its workforce by 2033, aligning with global efforts to promote gender equality and diversity in the workplace. This commitment reflects The Company’s recognition of the invaluable contributions women make to the energy sector.In a bid to enhance communication and foster a culture of continuous improvement, EMP also announced the implementation of a formal open feedback system that will start this year.

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, The Company unveiled a set of rigorous targets designed to reduce its carbon footprint and minimize environmental impact. These targets include a 20% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, a 5% year-on-year decrease in hazardous waste production, and a steadfast pledge to prevent any incidents that could contaminate bodies of water. Additionally, The Company affirmed its dedication to protecting biodiversity, recognizing the vital importance of preserving natural ecosystems for future generations.
