SOUTH CPP PSC
RIAU Province South CPP Block covering an area of
5,447.14 km², the working area spans across Kota
Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, Kuantan Singingi,
Kampar, and Indragiri Hulu regency, Riau
Province. The block is owned and operated by
PT EMP Tunas Energi (100%) under a Cost
Recovery scheme. The current contract period
runs from 2021 to 2051, ensuring a long-term
development for the block. Strategically
positioned in a prolific region with a history of oil
and gas discoveries, the block presents
promising opportunities for future exploration.
Through geological and geophysical studies,
several high-potential areas have been identified
for further exploration and development.
As part of the South CPP PSC exploration plan,
efforts are focused on exploration and
development activities within the block. These
initiatives include seismic analysis, 2D seismic
acquisition, and exploration drilling. Exploration
activities will be carried out to enhance the
potential for new discoveries and unlock future
production.
Comprehensive project analysis is being
conducted to optimize exploration and
development activities within the South CPP
Block. This includes assessing economic
feasibility, technological requirements, and
environmental considerations to ensure
sustainable and efficient operations. By
leveraging advanced exploration techniques
and strategic planning, the South CPP Block aims
to contribute to the long-term growth and
success of the region’s energy sector.
