ESG Ratings By Dimension
PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (“EMP”) continues to strengthen its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, as reflected in its ESG assessments by leading independent rating providers, Morningstar Sustainalytics and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).
EMP achieved a “Medium” risk rating category from Morningstar Sustainalytics as per September 2025. The assessment reflects Sustainalytics’ evaluation of the Company’s exposure to material Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and its management of these risks.
In addition, EMP achieved an overall ESG rating of “good” (2) from Dun & Bradstreet as per Oktober 2025, on a scale of 1 (Low) to 5 (High). The Company recorded strong performance particularly in the Environmental dimension, with a rating of 1, while achieving ratings of 2 in Governance and 3 in Social.
These recognitions underscore EMP’s ongoing efforts to integrate ESG considerations into its operations, governance, risk management, and long-term business strategy. EMP remains committed to continuously improving its ESG performance, creating sustainable value for stakeholders, and supporting responsible growth across its energy portfolio.

EMP has received numerous prestigious awards as a testament to its commitment to sustainability, safety, and excellence in governance. These achievements include the Green PROPER Rating 2022–2023, Green PROPER Certificate, Zero Accident KEI Award from the Minister of Manpower 2023, Patra Nirbhaya Karya Award, and Advanced SMK3 Certification.
In addition, EMP has obtained ISO 14001 KEI Certification (2023–2026) and FIHRRST Study Report & SR Study Certificate 2024, underscoring compliance with international standards. These recognitions reflect EMP’s dedication to integrating sustainability and safety into every aspect of its operations.
This year, EMP successfully attained an A+ rating certificate, marking a significant improvement from the A rating achieved in the previous year. This recognition was awarded for the preparation of the 2023 Sustainability Report by FIHRRST and UNGP’s.
