Korinci Baru PSC Block is an onshore natural gas project located in
Riau, Indonesia, covering an area of 252.5 km². The block is 100%
operated by EMP Korinci Baru Limited under a Production Sharing
Contract (PSC) valid from 1997 to 2027. Initially producing gas from
2007 to 2012, the field was successfully reactivated in 2022 and
continues to supply gas to support the region’s energy needs.
The project’s current production comes from the Baru-West Baru Field
and the gas is sold to PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara).
Moving forward, Korinci Baru PSC remains committed to optimizing
production and ensuring a stable gas supply for the domestic market.
