Bentu PSC is an onshore gas project located in Riau province,
Indonesia covering a working area of 1,039.02 km². The block is 100%
operated by EMP Bentu Limited and plays a strategic role in Riau
province gas supply, supporting the industry and power generation
sector. The gas produced from Bentu PSC is supplied to major buyers,
including PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara), PT Kilang Pertamina
Internasional (KPI), PT Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper (RAPP), and PT
Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), ensuring a stable energy supply for
various industries.
The long-term development plan for Bentu PSC includes continuous
drilling campaigns in the Seng-Segat Field, the reactivation of wells,
and the construction of new production lines to maximize
production. The project also includes the Booster Compression Plant
at Seng & Segat, ensuring enhanced production efficiency. Exploration
efforts are underway, including the drilling of N.Napuh-01 and CEN-01
wells in the Central East Napuh (CEN) Field.
Looking ahead, Bentu PSC aims to further develop the OPLL
Seng-Segat-Terusan-CEN, with the CEN and Terusan Field expected to
come onstream soon. Additional exploration activities in Lead &
Prospect areas, including seismic acquisition and new drillings, will
support future growth.
With a strong commitment to sustainable gas production and
infrastructure expansion, Bentu PSC continues to enhance the region’s
energy supply while ensuring long-term resource optimization and
operational efficiency
