Nestled in the heart of South Sulawesi, Sengkang PSC working area
spans over 2,925.23 km² in Wajo Regency, with a Production Sharing
Contract (PSC) period valid until 2042. The block is operated by
Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Ltd. (EEES), holding a 51% interest,
with PT Energi Maju Abadi controlling the remaining 49%. Its primary
producing asset is the Kampung Baru Field, and the gas is processed at
the Kampung Baru Processing Facilities, where amine and dehydration
systems convert sour gas into market-ready sweet dry gas.
Supporting this production is an extensive infrastructure network,
including gas export pipelines, processing plants, and metering
stations, ensuring seamless delivery to key buyers. PT PLN NP,
Indonesia’s state-owned company, receives up to 50 BBtud for
electricity generation, while PT PGN Tbk supplies city gas to
approximately 17,000 households. The upcoming Gas Booster
Compression Plant (BCP), set to commence operations in Q3 2025, will
further enhance production efficiency.
With an ambitious 2025 Work Program & Budget (WP&B) targeting up
to 50 MMscfd of gas, the Sengkang Block is poised for steady growth.

managed. As the industry evolves, Sengkang Block PSC remains
steadfast in its mission to fuel the region’s energy demand.
