Establishment of the EMP Group Women’s Association
To promote gender equality in alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, the “EMP Group Women’s Workers Association,” named KARTINI EMP, was established on December 22, 2024.
ESG is a global standard used by companies to evaluate sustainability across three key areas: environmental, social, and corporate governance. Gender equality is a critical factor in advancing sustainable and responsible business practices within this framework.
The establishment of KARTINI EMP, comprising all female employees of the EMP Group, aims to provide a platform for the career development of female employees, foster a workplace that embraces differences and values diversity to ensure that the fundamental rights of every individual are fulfilled (inclusion), and optimize the contributions of women in creating social welfare, thereby enabling the formation of more productive and innovative teams free from discrimination.
The structure of KARTINI EMP’s committee is as follows:

- Vice Chairwoman: Riri Harahap
- Secretary 1: Narumalia Ulfa
- Secretary 2: Melvina Sally Sembiring
- Treasurer: Mindy J. Tjendrasa
- Head of Activities Unit: Rida Handayani
- Public Relations and Publications: Telly Wana Adriani dan Silfi Ariani
- Events Section: Nita Apriyani dan Sesi Annisa Sonia
- Consumption Section: Dwi Retno Mulyaningsih dan Amalia Utami
The association will implement various initiatives to be carried out bi-monthly, to ensure continuous support and personal development for the women within the organization. These initiatives include:
- Training Programs: Focused on enhancing leadership, time management, and soft skills.
- Mentorship: Pairing employees with female leaders within the company.
- Social Activities: Organizing charity events and team-building activities to foster connections.
- Discussion Forums: Addressing contemporary issues related to women in the workplace.
- Well-being Activities: Organizing physical, mental, and social well-being initiatives, including group sports and fitness events.
Additionally, the inauguration of KARTINI EMP will be carried out during the first activity of this association, the notification of which we will convey separately.
