EMP STRENGTHENS TRANSPARENCY THROUGH WHISTLEBLOWING SYSTEM
As part of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (EMP)’s commitment to enhancing good corporate governance, EMP has implemented a Whistleblowing System, which is independently managed by PT DC Solutions (Deloitte). This system serves as a secure and reliable channel for employees and stakeholders to report suspected violations.
EMP has actively promoted the Whistleblowing System through a mini town hall at the beginning of 2024, followed by the Whistleblowing System Facility and Employment Survey Awareness session for all EMP employees, featuring PT DC Solutions (Deloitte) as the main speaker on February 27, 2025. This initiative aims to improve employees’ understanding of reporting mechanisms, as well as the importance of transparency, integrity, and adherence to ethical codes in the workplace.
About the Whistleblowing System
The Whistleblowing System is a reporting mechanism that allows stakeholders, including EMP employees, to report suspected legal violations, ethical breaches, non-compliance, and misconduct. Reports can be made anonymously, partially anonymously, or with full disclosure. Through this system, individuals can safely report unethical behavior without fear of retaliation.
EMP has partnered with Deloitte to provide an independent reporting platform called “Letter to EMP,” which enables individuals to report fraud, ethical violations, and other forms of misconduct in the workplace, either anonymously or non-anonymously.
Types of Violations That Can Be Reported
The “Letter to EMP” system is designed to accommodate various types of violations, including:
- Data breaches and disclosure of confidential information
- Conflicts of interest
- Bribery and gratuities
- Violations of company regulations and legal provisions
- Abuse of power and authority
- Fraud and embezzlement
- Violations of ethical codes and misconduct
- Human rights violations
- Violations of workplace safety, health, and environmental standards
With this system, EMP ensures that all reports are handled professionally in accordance with applicable policies.

Report Handling Process
- Reporting: The whistleblower submits a suspected violation through one of the available channels.
- Initial Review: Deloitte reviews and classifies the report based on the type of violation.
- Investigation and Follow-up: The report is forwarded to the EMP Whistleblowing Team for further investigation.
- Response to Whistleblower: If the whistleblower provides contact details, follow-up updates will be communicated periodically.
